Adara read through her first level one reader book all by herself, with just a few boosts over words she had never encountered before. It was "Mudge wants a Snack" by Cynthia Rylant - she loves the Henry and Mudge series, and was so excited at having read one of their books "just like Mama". I caught her rereading it aloud again later to herself...very cute.
